Bagged Fiber Desiccant
- Absorbs over 100% of its own weight — 3–5× silica gel
- 1 g to 60 g standard sizes, custom on request
- Compostable bag, dust-free, regenerates by air-drying
One patented composite — plant fiber + calcium chloride. 5× the absorption of silica gel, FDA food-contact safe, certified compostable.
Our fiber desiccant is designed for brands and manufacturers that need reliable moisture control without bulky sachets, loose silica gel, or unnecessary plastic. Each format can be customized based on product sensitivity, target absorption, machine compatibility, and packaging space.
Patented lignocellulose fiber + calcium chloride, certified for food contact and industrial composting.

Same protection, less mass: 5 g of fiber replaces 25 g of silica gel in a standard carton.
Why fiber outperforms purely physical adsorbents.
Porous lignocellulose draws moisture into micro-channels by capillary action — faster uptake than dense clay.
Calcium chloride locked in the fiber matrix hydrogen-bonds water — high capacity with no brine leak, dust, or corrosion.

Yes — usually with far less mass. At RH 90% / 25°C, 1 kg of fiber absorbs ~1.5 L of water versus ~0.3 L for silica gel. Most carton applications need one-third to one-fifth of the silica-gel mass.
Yes. The fiber substrate and overwrap meet FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and the salts used are food-grade compliant. Standard desiccant handling warnings still apply — not intended to be ingested.
Clay products cap out around 25–35% absorption by weight — similar to silica gel. The fiber active delivers over 100% (FPH-1) or over 70% (Desimat). The compostable-bag story is comparable; the performance story is materially different.
Yes: SGS Compostable (EN 13432), ISO 14067 product carbon footprint, and SGS Anti-mould. Full certificates are available on request.
